Privacy Policy

What data we collect
WatchLater Hero collects the following data only when you explicitly trigger a save or sync action:
- YouTube video metadata: video ID, title, channel name, duration, and thumbnail URL
- Account credentials: email and password (sent directly to Supabase Auth, never stored locally in plaintext)
- Sync timestamps: when you last synced your Watch Later playlist
How we use the data
- Video metadata is stored in your private database to power your personal dashboard
- Your credentials authenticate you with the WatchLater Hero web app
- No data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising
What we do NOT collect
- Browsing history
- Personal information beyond your email
- Data from non-YouTube pages
- Analytics or tracking data
- Cookies from YouTube
Data storage
All data is stored in your personal account on Supabase (hosted on AWS). Data is isolated per user via Row Level Security (RLS) policies — no user can access another user's videos.
Data deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the settings page. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data (auth tokens, sync timestamps).
